I am a joyful abstract expressionist painter. I love fun, color, nature, spontaneity and joy as an artist.  I am inspired by natural and inner worlds.  I explore presence, harmony, spontaneity, and unpredictability through form, color, and texture, working in a variety of mediums including acrylic on paper and canvas and watercolor and inks on Yupo.

Color is integral to my work. My intention as an artist is to live in the present. I am a lifelong artist.

I have lived in South Korea and Thailand where I taught Art at RAIS. I also taught art as a volunteer at a Cleveland nonprofit.

I earned a B.A. in Psychology with an Art minor from BGSU where I studied with Robert Mazur and Cat Crotchett. They were wonderful professors and artists. Some other artists that I enjoy include ashleymaryart, Betty Franks, Sarah Martinez, and many others.

My art journey has been long and has culminated in a love for painting abstracts. I  currently live in a leafy neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio.
